Plant bare root roses. Apply 1
cup superphosphate and 1/2 cup sulfate
of potash.

Prune hybrid tea roses and "old
garden rose" varieties. __________________________________________________
Remove all foliage from plant and
plant debris from ground.
Spray canes and ground around base
of plant with Ortho Dormant Disease
Control or wetable powdered sulphur.

Irrigate newly planted roses every
other day for the first three weeks.
Withhold water from all other roses.
__________________________________________________
Withhold fertilizer until February
(except for the nutrients indicated
when planting bare root roses, above).
