I do not recommend planting roses this month because, in general, fresh bare-root roses and good potted roses are not commercially available in April.

Disbud: Remove side buds on hybrid teas, center buds on floribundas.

Each morning, syringe any new foliage with water using Water Wand® with Jet Spray™ head. Spot treat with Ortho Dormant Disease Control mixed at the growing-season rate.

Apply 1.5" twice a week (through June)

Each week, apply 1 Tbs. of sulfate of ammonia and 1 Tb. diluted fish emulsion to each plant.
