SAN DIEGO ROSE SOCIETY
LITTLE ROSE SHOW COMPETITION

Chairman: Sue Streeper

There will be five "six-pack" shows at the SDRS meetings in April, May, June, September and October.

RULES OF ENTRY FOR ALL SIX-PACK SHOWS:

* All roses must be properly named and entered in the appropriate section.

* Exhibitors must supply their own containers: 12-oz beverage bottles are suggested for large roses and any appropriate container for miniatures may be used.

* Each exhibitor is limited to six entries. You may concentrate your entries in one section or distribute them over all the sections you are eligible to enter.

* Entry tags will be supplied and only the top sections need be filled out.

* Section 5 and 6 are restricted to novices (anyone who has never won a trophy in any rose competition). However novices are not restricted to enter only in the novice sections and may enter any section.

* Exhibitors are asked to remove all exhibits and containers at the end of the meeting.

SCORING: Scoring will be in accordance with ARS Guidelines and points given to the best roses as follows:
First place - 5 points, Second Place - 3 points, Third place - 1 point.
The first place winners of each section will be judged against each other to determine the Rose of the Night, and that entry will be awarded an additional 3 points and will be displayed at the front of the meeting room. At the end of the year, trophies will be awarded at the holiday banquet to the high-scoring novice exhibitor and to the overall high-scoring exhibitor. These are perpetual trophies with the winner's name engraved for that year, and returned at the end of the year.
